things were never simple, just your view of them was.
Doesn't mean that you can't blurr the details so that you can focus on the big picture too.
I always tell myself that things are worse than they really are so that when the end of the bad day or bad week or bad month comes and I'm surprised by how much money I actually have left over and by the little things(or sometimes big things) that went my way.
